JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Assist in managing routine office operating functions in filing, documentation, materials preparation, making journals/reports in timely manner by written.
  2. Assist in prepare and maintain power point/video/audio presentations, and reports for humanity programs, events, and activities.
  3. Assist in upload and organize documentation for humanity programs, events and activities.
  4. Assist in coordinate/translating articles with pictures onto school website, social media, or letters / newsletter for families.
  5. Assist and support Tzu Chi schools’ projects in need.
  6. Promote Tzu Chi philosophy and educational objectives.
  7. Attend Tzu Chi Foundation events and training consistently.
  8. Maintain a professional relationship and communication with staff members, parents and volunteers.
  9. Assist in coordinate and support all humanity classes.
  10. Assist to maintain inventory of supplies and materials for the purpose of disseminating information in compliance with established administrative guidelines.
  11. Assist to perform general clerical functions for the purpose of supporting office operations and outstanding customer service.
  12. To be in compliance with Tzu Chi dress code policy.
  13. Record and request maintenance needs on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Follow up until completion with Tzu Chi team and other outside vendors.
  14. To be aware of the health and safety guidelines in the office, classrooms and kitchen.
  15. To maintain confidentiality of the information regarding the children, parents, and staff.
  16. To work with the Preschool Director as needed.
  17. To perform any and all other duties as assigned with a level of flexibility.
  18. To inform the Preschool Director by 6:00 am if the employee is sick and not be able to be at work.
  19. To assist in kitchen duties (lunch/snack set up, delivery, and light dishes) as needed due to staffing issues.
  20. Process Tuition payments, record, copy, input into Billing system program per family and submit for deposit.
  21. Generate family statements as request (monthly / tax statements) as needed by parents.
  22. Process PA/OA forms for billing purposes and submit to billing department for payment.
  23. Maintain inventory records, sell uniforms, input purchases into Billing System, and inform Director when inventory is running and assist Director in order additional staff & students uniforms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • AA preferred but not required / ECE units a plus
  • Mandarin speaking is required

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

Microsoft Office, Adobe, Photoshop, and video editing

JOB TYPE:

Part-time

PAY:

$18.50 – $20.50 per hour

EXPECTED HOURS:

25 – 30 per week

SCHEDULE:

Day shift
