For years, the Tzu Chi Education Foundation has been committed to Character Education through joyful, meaningful learning. From partnerships with public schools to our Summer and Winter Camps, we help children develop positive values, social-emotional skills, and strong character—while having fun.
We are proud to be selected by the American Camp Association as a recipient of the highly competitive Character at Camp grant. This two-year funding supports teacher training, behavioral development tracking, and research-based tools that enhance campers’ growth as people. As part of a national network of character-focused camps, we welcome families who share this vision and invite you to stay tuned for more information about our upcoming Summer Camp.

Our mission is to advance a global humanistic culture through education, and we do so through schools and programs that balance developing the mind and opening the heart. Our preschools and elementary schools offer a holistic curriculum that supports spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and creative development, while cultivating integrity and social responsibility. Our camps (through our Humanistic Education Department) and character education program nurture positive character traits and self-esteem, as they awaken the conscience, instill environmental awareness, and provide opportunities to develop interpersonal skills.

Elementary School
Tzu Chi Elementary School is enrolling students for the 2023-24 school year and welcomes students from kindergarten to 5th grade. You are welcome to visit the campus, see the teaching achievements, listen to the teacher’s briefings, and experience the difference of Tzu Chi education for yourself.

Great Love Preschool
Our preschools prepare children for their further education and life by inspiring a love of learning, building good character and self-esteem, and nurturing social skills within a supportive environment.
Tzu Chi Elementary Schools
At Tzu Chi Elementary School, we understand that in a global society often lacking compassion and wisdom, incubating these qualities in the next generation is of great importance.
Our Humanistic Education Department plans and hosts a variety of seasonal, sports, and international camps throughout the year, offering fun and engaging activities that build self-esteem, character, and interpersonal skills
Our character education program provides an engaging curriculum appropriate for different grade levels, which helps students become aware of their own behavior and how it affects others, and cultivates virtues.
